Deeply discounted high-end furniture sale starts this weekend

The women behind the semi-annual designer clothing EDIT sale are hosting a home sale, select days now through Feb 13.

What: Expect a warehouse full of new and used furniture, home decor, rugs,  art, antiques, lighting and more. You can find anything from dining sets to outdoor lounge chairs to chandeliers.

Why it matters: Just like many other goods, furniture is hard to come by these days. Shipping times for sites like Amazon and Wayfair are even 3-6 months out, and custom pieces can take 6+ months.

  • If you’re in need of furniture and home decor quickly, consignment is the way to go right now.

Prices: There’s a wide range, but many pieces are priced $100-$500. High quality antiques and some larger pieces of furniture are priced $1,000+.

  • I scoured a handful of Charlotte home stores last week, and the EDIT HOME sale had the best deals on items I’m looking for, including lamps, tables and rugs.

Logistics: If you need help hauling your finds, they’ll have movers on standby you can hire to help.

  • They accept Zelle, cash or card.
  • Any furniture not sold will be donated.

Details: The exact address is 2336 Freedom Dr., near Bossy Beulah’s. The sale runs Feb. 4-5 10am-5pm; Feb. 6 noon to 4pm; Feb. 9-12 10am-4pm; and Feb. 13 noon-4pm.
